ISG packages are customised to client requirements, including design and construction to different code and project specifications, selection of sub-vendors, layout and skid arrangements.
Typical packages supplied by us are:
Adsorption These packages are designed for different applications (oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, synthesis gas) and for different fluids (natural gas, liquid hydrocarbons, syngas etc.).
Different types of adsorbents (activated alumina, molecular sieves, silica gel) and/or catalysts are selected based on the contaminants to be removed.
Adsorbents need to be regenerated therefore we offer both PSA or TSA technologies. If a catalyst is also needed, there could be a need to promote reaction by means of injecting a feed such as oxygen or hydrogen as well as employing regeneration. These packages are complete with different items of equipment: heat exchangers, separators, compressors, pumps, on-off valves and control panel.
Absorption Absorption is considered for the natural gas dehydration in order to meet pipeline specifications and purification (CO2, H2S removal).
This system utilises a liquid (TEG, DEG, MEG, amine) to remove water or impurities from the gas by means of physical absorption into the contactor.
These units are complete with a glycol regeneration system which includes various items of equipment (vessels, heat exchangers, heating system, pumps).
Chilling Unit Chilling units are designed for condensation and separation or recovery.
These are fully designed to the project's specification, and the equipment includes refrigeration compressors, condensers, heat exchangers, instruments and control systems.
Membrane Membranes allow the separation of certain gas or contaminants from the gas feeds.
Membranes can be considered for gas purification (such as hydrogen or nitrogen purification) as well as for gas generation (nitrogen).
Membranes are housed in vessels that typically operate in series.
The number of membranes required for each application depends on the feed conditions and product specifications.
According to the application, the gas needs to be treated before passing through the membrane and these packages are completed by having items such as filters, separators and heat exchangers.
PSA The PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) unit provides for the separation of gas and contaminants from the gas feed and is to be considered whenever the product specifications are very stringent.
PSA units are designed typically for the purification of hydrogen or for the generation of nitrogen.
For hydrogen purification, the PSA unit includes a certain number of beds (typically 4 to 10) loaded with different types of adsorbents.
ON/OFF switching valve skids and programmable logic controller systems (PLCs) are always included in our supplies.
Reforming Steam or methanol reforming are two means of producing hydrogen from hydrocarbons or methanol.
The feedstock, in conjunction with steam or water, is passed through a metal based catalyst so producing hydrogen.
This reaction requires heat; some by-products (such as CO) are converted to CO2 as a result.
A PSA unit is also required in order to remove the contaminants from the hydrogen produced in the feed in order to conform with the specifications.
Chemical Injection Chemical injection skids typically include dosing pumps with their associated instrumentation and chemical storage tank.
The necessity for injecting chemicals in a controlled manner is dominant in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical and water treatment plants.
ISG is able to design these small packages in accordance with all project specifications.
Fluid Treatment Package
The fluid treatment package can be as: Pressure let-down typically equipped with heater and pressure let-down valve
Heating skids equipped with indirect or electric heater.
